Ban Running Now!

Now that we've banned violent pornography, we should also ban running. Murderers run, just like all murderers use violent pornography. If we ban running, it will give victims more time to escape. Why should you need to run anyway when you can walk? Write to your MP now and demand another new law!

I'm being sarcastic, if that's what you mean. Just because one person does something wrong, why should something else they did also get banned, even if there's no proof of any link between the two? It's punishing everyone for the crimes of a few. Maybe watching all the deaths in Iraq on the news proved the tipping point? That's too complex for some people to contemplate, so they go for the seemingly simple answer that errodes all our freedoms. But where do we stop?
