Poor Lord Levy
It's fair enough if he was poor or didn't have a job, but why should someone as important as him be arrested? He's a friend of Tony Blair after all. The law is supposed to only apply to peasants who live on council estates, or eyesore like Brian Haw who just get in the way (Brian obviously deserved 20+ police officers descending on him in the middle of the night), not someone who is so obviously important has he is Lord. No doubt he's done great things for the country to earn such a title (answers on a postcard).
On a more serious note, is there any more blatant example of how the government and it's cronies think they are far more important than the average UK citizen? It's like they actually want to be unpopular. Does he seriously think he will garner any sympathy?
