America Foiled a Terrorist Plot?
A few questions about the supposed foiling of a major terrorist plot :-
Of course, this is only my own cynical view, and you should no more assume I am right than President Bush. But only one of us has a serious vested interest.
- Why has it only been brought up now, 4 years after the event?
- Why don't the names of the countries that actually foiled the plot get mentioned?
- If they managed to foil it then, why do they need more powers?

Why has it only been brought up now, 4 years after the event?
I know these are rhetorical questions, but the answer is pretty clear: poll numbers. Americans are starting to think for themselves and see how awful this administration is, so it's time to make the sheeple think the admin is doing something. Fearmongering is the number one tactic of this admin.
No doubt there have been other foiled plots. There were under Clinton as well. But there is no need to incite panic among the masses by letting them know there have been other plots. Righties already think the boogieman is out to get them around every corner.
